Hunter Executive Search Consultants are currently working in partnership with The Autism Association of Western Australia to source an experienced and confident Human Resources / Industrial Relations specialist in the role of Manager, People and Culture. The Autism Association of Western Australia is a modern, forward-thinking, and extremely energetic organisation and a leader nationally and internationally in the provision of specialist services to children and adults with Autism.

**The key responsibilities of the position include**:

- Manage the delivery of HR activities to support the employee life cycle - recruitment, on boarding, employee administration, performance management reviews.
- Develop and review HR policies and processes as required.
- Ensure Recruitment Authority requests from Departments are aligned with relevant delegated authority.
- Manage employee and industrial relations activities.
- Ensure Departmental Heads and line managers have the necessary HR information to manage their staff.
- Participate in industrial relations agreement negotiations.
- Represent the Autism Association in industrial matters as required.
- Oversee activities in respect to employee engagement initiatives, including employee surveys, results and action plan initiatives.
- Development and implement of annual HR operational plan and budget.
- Support the ongoing development of Departmental Heads in HR related matters.

**About you**:

- More than 10 years senior leadership experience in a demanding HR/IR environment.
- Demonstrated detailed understanding of Award interpretation and complexities.
- Experienced negotiator.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and leading change-management initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent ability to communicate (verbal and written) with senior executives and relevant stakeholders.
- Proactive positive 'can do' approach in all undertakings.
