**The role**:
The Asset Data Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining asset data and for liaising with key stakeholders including engineers, area planners, cataloguing officers, drafts-people and external manufacturing and maintenance suppliers to ensure that a high standard of data is maintained.

Responsibilities include:

- Reviewing and updating Equipment Register/EPLs and plant components' technical information including reviewing and updating the Equipment Master, Maintenance Strategies/WO Packaging, EPLs and Critical Spares Assessment;
- Reviewing and updating training for the above requirements;
- Completing inspections;
- Updating procedures for Data Gathering and Data Entry in the ERP system;
- Sourcing and compiling equipment data;
- Reviewing EPLs for critical equipment checking stock holdings and availability;
- Providing guidance and support in maintenance planning and development;
- Facilitating the introduction of progressive maintenance strategies;
- Continually developing skills in the use and development of the ERP maintenance system;
- Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of maintenance plans;
- Maintaining regular and frequent contact with Equipment Support personnel, Team facilitators and Planners;
- Progressing the development of maintenance plant for the production units.

**Selection Criteria**:
To be successful, you will need have a trade qualification in E&I and have substantial experience working in a plant environment. You will also need to take a hands-on approach to your work and have experience working in a planned maintenance environment. Your excellent analytical skills together with your high-level organisational skills and the ability to multi-task to deliver timely outcomes will see you secure this 6-month contract. (An extension is highly likely). Additionally, you will also need to be comfortable using a computer and will preferably have some exposure to ERP systems.
