The role
The Asset Data Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining asset data within the ERP system and for liaising with key stakeholders including engineers, area planners, cataloguing officers, drafts-people and external manufacturing and maintenance suppliers to ensure that a high standard of asset data is maintained.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and updating Equipment Register/EPLs and plant components' technical information. This includes Equipment Master, Maintenance Strategies/WO Packaging, EPLs and Critical Spares Assessment;
 - Reviewing and Updating training; Updating procedures for Data Gathering and Data Entry in the ERP system;
 - Sourcing and compiling equipment data by regularly reviewing information, drawings and Equipment Parts Lists for entry into the ERP;
 - Reviewing EPLs for critical equipment checking stock holdings and availability;
 - Providing guidance and support in maintenance planning and development;
 - Facilitating the introduction of progressive maintenance strategies;
 - Continually developing skills in the use and development of the ERP maintenance system;
 - Developing and applying Maintenance Key Performance Indicators.
 - Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of maintenance plans;
 - Maintaining regular and frequent contact with Equipment Support personnel, Team facilitators and Planners;
 - Progressing the development of maintenance plant for the production units.
 - Developing and maintaining strong relationship with stakeholders to maintain inventory using Australian and industry standards.
 
Selection Criteria
To be successful, you will need a trade qualification with substantial experience working in a plant environment or as an asset maintenance planner. You will also need to have excellent data management skills and experience using SAP or other ERP systems.  Your excellent analytical skills together with your high-level organisational skills and the ability to multi-task to deliver timely outcomes will see you secure this contract. (An extension is highly likely).
