Project Controls Assistant is an entry-level position and would ideally have a background with an engineering design firm, or contractor involved with the construction of heavy civil engineering projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop an understanding of project management requirements
- Develop an understanding of the different types of McMillen Jacobs projects and delivery methods
- Develop teamwork skills
- Develop communication skills
- Professionally meet and greet office visitors, clients, and applicants
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Assist with the reconciliation of billing and invoices
- Assist Project Manager (PM) in file set-up, version control, and filing procedures. Maintain document control systems (software).

**Qualifications**:

- 2 + years
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
