**What you’ll do**

The Trainer and Assessor role offers a unique opportunity to share your expertise, impart practical knowledge and ensure our workforce is equipped with the skills they need to excel in their careers. You’ll be a key player in maintaining the highest standards of safety and proficiency in the field.
- Prepare and set up materials, tools, and equipment for field-based technical training.
- Deliver technical training for ATCO Gas Australia employees and contractors on gas distribution network construction and maintenance for compliance and safety.
- Conduct field assessments to verify competency in line with Australian Qualifications Framework and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with Supervisors to ensure timely and compliant employee assessments.
- Integrate workplace practices into training and assessment materials through reviews.
- Assist in developing relevant training and assessment tools.
- Participate in validation meetings to ensure compliance with RTO standards and training packages.

**Skills & Experience**
- A Certificate III or licensed in any of the following disciplines.
- Utilities
- Civil Construction
- Plumbing and Gas Fitting
- Considerable technical knowledge and experience in gas distribution field operations or other relevant industries.
- Highly desirable TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

In addition to the above you must have the following:

- Good PC skills, including utilising various information systems (MS Office).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) and can work in a team environment.
- Current C Class Drivers Licence.
