We are excited to announce that we are hiring a part-time Restaurant Host for our brand-new restaurant, Chakraya, set to open soon at the prestigious Oaks Cypress Lakes Retreat. Chakraya promises to be a culinary gem, offering a vibrant menu brimming with authentic Sri Lankan flavors.

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals to join us in this exciting new venture. As Restaurant & Reservations Hosts, you will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, delivering exceptional customer service and showcasing your keen attention to detail. This is an incredible opportunity to make a lasting impression and be a standout representative of Chakraya.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to ensure smooth operations and minimize wait times.
- Provide guests with information about the restaurant's offerings, promotions, and daily specials.
- Maintain a clean and organised front-of-house area, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere at all times.

**Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate**:

- A minimum of 1 year of experience in guest services within the restaurant, hotel, or tourism industry.
- Previous experience in a restaurant environment is advantageous.
- Experience in reservations management, as well as greeting and seating guests, will be highly regarded.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A genuine passion for food, people, and the overall hospitality experience.
- A valid and current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.
- Impeccable standards of personal presentation, hygiene, and grooming.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, on a rotating 7-day roster.
