**Job Description**:
BESIX Watpac have an opportunity for a project safety professional to join our team based on an upcoming project on the Gold Coast. Key responsibilities will include:

- Assist the Project Manager in the development, implementation and monitoring of the Project Safety Management Plan.
- Ensuring compliance with the BESIX Watpac National Safety Management System.
- Identify training needs, appropriate educational and training programs in OHS for the project.
- Maintain project records in accordance with BESIX Watpac's National Safety Management System.
- Assist in the review of subcontractor OHS performance at the start of the contract through to completion of contract.

**Qualifications**:
The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience:

- Tertiary qualifications in OH&S or a related discipline.
- Previous experience as the Project Safety Advisor or Officer for a building/construction organisation.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and online safety management tools.
