We’re currently seeking a Head of Digital Comunications to join our Melbourne based team, on a Max-Term contract basis.

**About the role**:
**Some of your responsibilities will be**:

- Responsible for the strategy and planning of **Movember’**s global proactive and reactive communications across digital channels.
- In partnership with the Global Director of Communications, design **Movember**’s Digital Communication Strategy to align with business goals.
- Is accountable for the delivery of the** Movember** Digital Communications Strategy and ensuring **Movember** execute best-in-class communications across digital channels globally - including but not limited to social media.
- Work with the Campaigns teams to map long-term horizon content plans based on key moments from the **Movember** landscape.
- Work with the Brand & Content team to strategise long term content requirements appropriate for each channel.
- Work closely with Performance Marketing Manager as they plan all paid digital marketing activity, to maximise reach and engagement.
- Strategically and innovatively plan digital communications and propose new, effective ways of capturing audience reach, acquisition and retention.
- Undertake research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences to improve the Digital Communications Strategy.

**Your knowledge and experience**:

- Significant digital communications experience that drives real engagement.
- Ability to evaluate digital communications and socialise learnings to the wider team.
- Solid experience and time working in the Social Impact space.
- Experience in the health sector, to translate complex health information into compelling mass communication.
- Strong communicator, with the ability to write communication plans and distil key messages and disseminate across various channels.
- Experience working with content creators - such a videographers and designers.
- Strong analytical, writing, editing and verbal skills for communicating with broad and diverse stakeholders.
- Creative, energetic, and innovative approach to identifying solutions.
- Effective as a collaborator in complex internal and external organizations.
- Ability to work with efficiency and diplomacy.
- Ability to work 'on the tools' when required (specifically social media channels)
- Proven ability to build and cultivate strong relationships.
- Balance competing priorities and identify when to escalate an issue or call out a risk.
