**My Gateway**, in partnership with Dot Exe, is looking for an apprentice to complete a **Certificate III in Security Equipment**. In this role, you’ll use your problem-solving skills, work with cutting-edge security technology, and handle tools and equipment to help protect homes and businesses. This opportunity is open to school leavers eager to kick-start a career in security systems and electronic solutions

**General duties**:

- Assist with the installation and basic setup of wired and wireless security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control units.
- Support licensed technician with tasks such as laying cabling, terminating connections, and mounting security devices.
- Use basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Follow detailed instructions to assemble and fix electrotechnology equipment.
- Participate in on-the-job and off-the-job training to build skills in technical problem-solving and fault finding.
- Help document and maintain installation records, safety procedures, and job logs as part of workplace compliance.
- Maintain a tidy and safe work area, supporting site preparation and clean-up activities.

**What You Need to Get Started**:

- Own transport and licence preferred.
- A valid White Card or willingness to obtain one.
- A strong drive to learn and complete an apprenticeship.
