**you're looking for.**
- A role as a Lead Product & Service Designer with room for creativity, autonomy and growth.
- The ability to use your current skills within an environment that values innovation and doing good, while developing yourself and your skills towards your purpose.
- Learning opportunities - the environment and psychological safety to learn skills that you’re not necessarily comfortable with, and the ability to learn from others in No Moss.
- Working as a team on problems - you don’t have to work on something alone.
- Flexibility - No Moss can offer full-time, flexible working and part-time opportunities, all of which allow for satisfying and challenging work while leaving room for the pursuit of yourself.
**we need.**
We are looking for Lead Product & Service Designers (User Experience / User Interface Consultants) who appreciate and think about what went behind seemingly small design decisions, like the haptic feedback when using an iPod scroll wheel, the elastic bounce when finger scrolling to the end of a list or the clicking shut of an AirPods case.
You are not just simply someone who has a love for solving product design challenges, you also have a deep human drive to facilitate and help those around you be better and more capable people, and are a champion for continuous improvement of the practices in your team.
You are able to self-manage with a consulting client. You have a history of working with a multi-disciplinary team of product designers and developers; leading and executing the product's user experience and user interface design.
As a Lead Product & Service Designer (User Experience / User Interface Consultant) at No Moss Co, you can expect to:
- Work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
- Champion and drive design practices that support lean and agile product development, such as design systems and atomic design.
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
- Facilitate workshops and discovery of the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products, using Design Sprint and Dual-Track Development processes.
- Design, organise and implement user research projects, including A/B tests, field studies, user surveys, user interviews and usability tests.
- Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research to create and report findings.
- Present findings to designers, developers, leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product, design, and delivery teams and provide actionable feedback.
- Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys and mockups optimised for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
- Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
- Execute user interface design, using tools such as Figma or Sketch.
- Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
- Facilitate a user-centred design approach and rapidly test and iterate ideas and designs.
- Act as a consultant within No Moss Co and develop business opportunities with associated people.
- Lead and coach team members as an advocate for the user experience and keep promises on the team-assigned scope.
- Contribute to articles and case studies demonstrating No Moss’s growing Product and Innovation acumen.
**Requirements**:
- You have at least three years of professional UX/UI product & service design experience, or can tangibly demonstrate you have the capability that is comparable to someone with at least 3 years of professional UX/UI product & service design experience experience.
- Not required but highly desired: 1+ years of Consulting experience.
- You have extensive experience in using UX and UI design best practices to design solutions and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
- You have a solid grasp of user-centred design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
- You can demonstrate your ability to facilitate product & service design workshops which deliver tangible outcomes meeting the needs and outcomes of multi-disciplinary teams & stakeholders;
- You have an ability to learn and build on a field of expertise, such as improved UX/UI design practices;
- An ability to learn and build a cross-functional skill set in other product delivery disciplines, such as but not limited to agile delivery and software development;
- A positive outlook on helping to foster and shape the culture of our design team. You are passionate about new ideas and have an inclusive, supportive nature toward others;
- Due to the nature of the role, for example where the consultants are required to visit clients onsite on a regular basis, evidence of double vaccination again
