**Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be**:

- Complete and/or oversee night audit function and preparation of daily financial reports and audit functions.
- Proactively monitor budget and labour costs with a view to maximising productivity. Observe both immediate and long-term changes to the volume of business and react accordingly in liaison with Front Office Manager.
- Check billing instructions and guest credit for compliance with hotel credit policy and ensure all transactions are handled in a secure manner.
- Adhere to all CSA responsibilities and accountabilities.
- Respond appropriately to guest complaints, solicit feedback and build relationships that drive continuous improvements in guest satisfaction.
- Conduct any other duties as directed by senior management.

The principal responsibility is safety and security of guests and colleagues and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of the night audit function. You’ll not only be the person guests rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience. You’ll also be in tune with your team, driving performance and engagement and ensuring they receive the right learning and development opportunities to maximize performance and maintain a positive and productive work environment.

This critical leadership position requires proven capability to take the lead with the team and create exceptional guest experiences, as well as working well under pressure, in those times we need to pull together as a team. You will oversee all overnight operations & Night Audit Procedures, including verifying the accuracy of guest accounts, balancing charges/revenues, as well as assisting with all aspects of Guest Services. You will also ensure the safety, security and smooth running of all other hotel operations. You will enjoy making a guest's stay special as well as motivating and engaging your team to deliver results.

**What we need from you to be successful in the role**:

- The right to work in Australia
- Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Administration and/or Business Administration
- Four years of guest service/hotel experience with two years in a management capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Passionate about delivering great guest experiences
- Strong communication, problem solving and relationahip building skills
- Experience with PMS system such as Opera is essential.
- Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol and First Aid Certificate
