**Position Purpose**:
Reporting to the Sales Director (Oceania), this role will step change our Retail Operations Strategy and Execution with end state in mind to get our Beauty Advisor or Beauty Consultant to be recognized as the best in class. He / She will draw on extensive knowledge of Retail Operations landscape, people management and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business partners to achieve success.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the overall success of retail operations driving sales, reinforcing operations, and store leadership management & development.
- Responsible for opening new doors, new product launches, the full encompassing details that this would entail including training and allocation of the space and location.
- Develop mid
- and long-term strategies in order to achieve growth projections.
- Develop sales strategies for the region in both retail stores and digital channels.
- Manage all retail-related projects which are aligned with regional retail strategy across the market to establish retail operations excellence.
- Formulating retail policies to accentuate the customer experience through developing and maintaining Retail Operations SOP to ensure best in class execution in stores.
- Ensure strong operational stewardship, following guidelines deployed to market and executed in market while remaining competitive.
- Accountability of the retail partnership to optimize inventory improve processes and effectiveness within this side of the business.
- Analyze and review store management team and retail team's performance for career growth and succession planning.
- Identifying and communicating sales driver opportunities with marketing and merchandising teams
- Create and maintain strategic retail recruiting plans with clearly defined objectives, desired outcomes, and a calendar of events.
- Manage, supervise, recruit and train all retail sales talents.
- Awareness and perfection of the merchandising in stores through auditing store for standards in sales, operations, customer service standards and merchandising as well as policies and procedures.
**Requirements**:
Rich knowledge of Sales & Retail Operations is a MUST.
Have a background in retail sales and understand how the department stores operate in Australia.
Comes along with the knowledge & experience in Beauty/Skincare/Prestige brands.
Strong excel skills.
Familiar with retail sales reports and be able to review and analyze.
Strong commitment to continuous improvement.
Innovative and strategic thinker with strong business acumen and analytical skills.
Digitally savvy and results-oriented individuals.
Project management experience, command of project scheduling, milestones and deliverables.
