Manager, Crisis Care Improvement

The role
Reporting to the Director, Clinical Governance Unit you will manage and lead the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic, statewide healthcare improvement strategies, programs, and methodologies, particularly as they relate to mental health crisis care and suicidality. You will also actively contribute to the effective management of the Branch and CEQ, including participation in planning, prioritisation of business, directing work flows and resource management.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for providing leadership, support and guidance to team members, and other staff internal and external to the work unit as well as managing program resources and expenses against the budget forecasts.
The successful person
The successful person will have capability in evidence-based healthcare improvement strategies and methodologies, particularly as they relate to mental health crisis care and suicidality.
In addition to this, you will have the proven ability to communicate with influence, interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to cultivate productive working relationships and networks.
