**Position description**
My client is seeking an adaptable and eager Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a Permanent basis. This role reports into the Accounts Payable Manager and you will be working in a large Shared Services team environment that is very supportive, they also offer a very flexible working arrangement.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Ensuring transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
- Validating expense claims
- Managing their expense system - be the go to person for this to ensure smooth operation
- Supplier payment reconciliations
- Assist with payment runs
- Some data capture & cleanse work
- Directing invoices to relevant cost centres
- Assisting the AP Manager with ad hoc project work

**The successful applicant should have**:

- High volume invoice processing experience.
- Excellent communication skills, positive energy
- Able to take on a challenge, dynamic environment
- Strong communicator to liaise with internal stakeholders
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience using large ERP systems (Oracle would be a nice to have)
