**About the opportunity**

You will be working for a well-known global organisation company based in Sydney CBD, who are renowned for their products and services within the Insurance and Finance sector.

A typical day will involve maintaining the integrity of the existing apps built by the clients local and global development teams.

**Responsibilities**
- Work with local and global teams to ensure solutions built on low code and RPA platforms follow our local Development standards, Governance and Lifecycle frameworks. Eg MS Power Apps, Blue Prism, Appian and SharePoint.
- Train up on and become a local champion of the well-established global development platform known as CloudForge. Impart your knowledge of this global development platform to other local developers and ensure existing systems are retrofitted into this development platform if it does not yet exist and where feasible
- Develop clear and comprehensive architectural designs on products or systems to ensure consistency, maintainability, and flexibility
- Review major architectural designs to ensure consistency, maintainability, and flexibility with respect to overall system, technical and product architectures

**Role competencies**
- Strong understanding of software engineering principals, patterns and methodologies
- Strong understanding of Relational Database Design and proprietary database products
- Strong understanding of API Design, Integration Techniques, and Integration Design
- Strong understanding of solution design documentation techniques and diagrams
- Strong understanding of CI\CD concepts
- Strong understanding of DevOps, SecOps and Cloud Architecture concepts and Cloud Orchestration tooling

**Technical Skills**
- Minimum 5 years Solution Design experience where common software design principals and patterns have been adopted and implemented.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the following core languages;.Net \.Net Core, JavaScript \ TypeScript (Node)
- Minimum 3 years' experience working with relational databases and competent in writing SQL queries (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- API service design and testing concepts and any associated tooling\libraries (eg, Swagger, JSON schema)
- Experience in setting up development frameworks including source code control and versioning, CI/CD pipeline and general standard is required
- Familiarity with basic web, database and network infrastructure concepts desirable
- Experience with or understanding of Front End \ SPA technologies (Angular2+, ReactJS, Blazor, Bootstrap JS) and the packaging and dependency frameworks that go with them desirable
- Experience working with one of the following batch script languages (Node, JS, PowerShell) desirable
- Experience deploying / configuring AWS services and infrastructure using scripts or 3rd party cloud orchestration tools \ frameworks desirable
- Experience in at least one of the following low code\ RPA platforms preferred
- MS PowerApps, Blue Prism
