For the 21/22 harvest, we broke over 90 records, and a total 21.3 million tonnes delivered to CBH’s network of 120+ receival sites. It’s enough grain to fill Optus Stadium 17 times over It’s a mammoth task to receive this much grain in a short harvest window, store it and export it via road and rail networks to one of our four shipping ports in WA. **The role**

The Specialist - Sales & Marketing position will be responsible for supporting Marketing and Trading activities to grow and streamline Blue Lake Milling (BLM) export program by developing long-term relationships with strategic customers and improving product mix. This position requires managing complex relationships with existing and potential customers. The person will also assist in marketing and budget planning, collaborate with internal stakeholders, regularly visit sites and coordinate customer audit visits.

This role is very diverse, one day you could be meeting with an international customer delegation and the next you could be visiting an operational site looking at ways to create efficiencies in the manufacturing process.

**Key responsibilities**- Identify customers and opportunities that help drive efficiency in production/manufacturing.- Maintain high levels of collaboration with key stakeholders within Blue Lake Milling “BLM” manufacturing facilities.- Visit manufacturing facilities to understand processing and production constraints.- Help maintain sales database and contract management.- Identify and implement continuous improvements to ensure goods & services are delivered in timely manner and in accordance with business KPIs.- Contribute to strategy and provide market intelligence- Assist with costings and quotations for export business.

**Skills and experience**- Tertiary degree in business or associated qualification.- Demonstrated experience in negotiating and problem solving.- International sales and marketing experience,- Knowledge of processing plants and container logistics.- Understanding of the Australian and global grain supply chain.- Self-motivated and with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.- Working knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office 365, CRM systems, Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) systems and customer communication or marketing systems.
