Create impact as a **Model and Financial Risk Governance Manager** Join the largest insurance group in Australia and New Zealand. **YOUR ROLE** Your duties will involve reviewing financial risk papers, including ICAAP, Recovery Plan, Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA), and providing constructive challenge and feedback to paper owners and the EGM, Enterprise Risk & Operations. You will also contribute to the preparation of papers for the Risk Executive Leadership Team on Model Risk and non-insurance Financial Risks developments. This role encompasses the oversight and governance of the material models utilized by the Groups. You will also provide SME support to the Risk Advisors and Line 1 Risk teams, acting as a trusted advisor for financial and model risk governance. **Financial Risk** - Liaise with data providers for timely monitoring and production of financial risk updates, within the CRO report, for GLT Risk and the Board Risk Committee. - Review of ALCo papers to provide insight to support robust challenge by Risk representatives on that Committee. - Develop and provide oversight of key financial risk metrics, proactively addressing areas of increased concern. - Provide SME support to the business on CPS 900 (Resolution planning). **Model Risk** - Embed and mature Model Risk Management across the Group with a focus on AI models, expansion to "non-models" and the use of the myrQ Model Central Register. - Update and review the Group Model Governance Policy (GMGP). - Assist in the development of further processes/standards to enhance model risk management.. - Prepare Model Risk updates to the Non Financial Risk and Compliance Committee (NFRCC) and via a quarterly Model Risk newsletter to broader risk and business stakeholders. **ABOUT YOU** - At least 10 years in an actuarial, product & pricing, corporate finance or financial role, preferably within a General Insurance / Reinsurance environment. - Have the ability to liaise broadly with colleagues from differing parts of the organisation. - An ability to manage projects and influence outcomes - Tertiary qualification/s in actuarial studies, statistics, mathematics, or related business/finance fields. **ABOUT US** IAG is the largest general insurance group in Australia and New Zealand.
