Laundry Assistant

**We are for looking people with a strong work ethic to join our expanding laundry operation in Edinburgh, SA. No prior laundry working experience is required.**

We are now looking for new members to join our growing team on a casual basis to assist with cleaning and laundry duties.

- You are able to physically meet the demands of the role. This involves bending, lifting large baskets of laundry and standing for long periods of time
- You have a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Have critical thinking skills to make best judgements in a situation
- Have effective written and verbal communication skills, and are able use computers and tablets
- Reliable and punctual
- **About the role**_
- We are currently requesting applicants with availability on Wednesdays for 5-8 hour shifts.
- Performs **Laundry** services to a high standard
- Works effectively without supervision to complete laundry services
- Uses correct cleaning/ laundry procedures at all times
- Quality checking to identify any linen that is damaged or needs to be re-washed.
- Promptly reports any maintenance issues requiring attention
- Folding and preparing laundry ready for dispatch back to our customers.
- Helping to maintain the highest standard of linen quality, plant cleanliness and safety

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $22.91 - $28.64 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 8 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Fixed shift
- No weekends
