We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Fire Suppression Technician/Leading Hand to join our clients Fire Service division, 8/6 FIFO in the Pilbara, WA (8 days on, 6 days off), FIFO roster from Perth, WA. The role will require you to be organised, committed to customer service, and wants to be part of a great team culture and working on these exciting and on-going sites.

Snapshot of your day:

- Carry out vehicle fire suppression maintenance and repair fire protection, safety equipment and systems in the Pilbara, WA.
- Survey customer machines and recommend fire protection, safety systems and equipment.
- Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Mentoring apprentices and trainees.
- Determining job priorities and meeting deadlines with mínimal supervision.
- Maintaining industry knowledge and monitoring market developments, keeping up to date with the latest changes and advances in fire technology and relevant Australian Standards.
- Report works progress and performance by complete productivity and reports.
- Commitment to the highest standards of business code of conduct, aligned with expectations on ethical behaviour according to company values.
- Complying with company and client HSEQ policies, ethics, and procedures.

About you:

- Experienced in Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems and other Fire disciplines.
- Previous experience Supervising and/or Leading Hand is preferred.
- A sound knowledge of applicable Australian Standards, relevant to fire suppression systems and protection equipment.
- Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team.
- An engineering or technical competency, with the ability to complete occupational and industry training and accreditation.
- Strong priortising skills and meeting deadlines.
- Current Drivers licence.
