Iron Mine Contracting (IMC) was formed to provide Civil, Mining, Crushing and Screening and Indigenous partnering opportunities to the West Australian market.

IMC and its associated indigenous Joint Venture partners have been delivering projects to Tier 1 Resource clients including Rio Tinto, Woodside Petroleum, Northern Star Resources FMG, Roy Hill, Novo Resources, Liontown Resources, Saracen Minerals and Newcrest Mining amongst others since 2013.

With extensive experience working for clients in remote areas and a deep body of knowledge gained from its diverse multidisciplinary team, IMC understands the specific challenges that constructing and delivering for its Western Australian clients presents.

We have a vacancy for an
**Area Maintenance Superintendent - Mining** to commence on a permanent full-time basis located at our Bayswater head office. While this role is largely working from Monday to Friday, regular travel to site on an 8/6 roster is also required.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, the key focus of responsibility is to provide technical advice and assist site to achieve set maintenance outcomes. Additionally. this role is pivotal in assisting the Maintenance Manager to lead culture, workplace development and safety throughout the organisation.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems are undertaken.
- Ensure that designated plant, machinery, and equipment at each site are fit for purpose and provide proactive support/solutions when required.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager to develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend combined with a strategy to manage expenditure.
- Manage plant, machinery, and equipment storage at each site, and ensure this is maintained to a high level of security.

**About you**:

- Trade qualified Heavy-Duty Mechanic.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in a contractor supplier organisation within the mining or associated industry.
- Well development financial and management skills.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely.
- Sound computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database systems.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical including drug screen.
- Provide a current police clearance.
