Hays has partnered with a multi-national consultancy who are looking for a Microsoft Identity Manager Subject Matter Expert (SME).

**Your new role**
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to identity and access management.
- Design and implement MIM solutions to meet business needs, including user provisioning, access request, role-based access control, and workflow automation.
- Develop and maintain customizations, extensions, and integrations with other systems to enhance MIM functionality.
- Perform MIM infrastructure planning, installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for MIM-related problems.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of MIM solutions to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to other team members and end-users on MIM functionality and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies related to identity management.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Extensive experience (5+ years) working with Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) in a complex enterprise environment.
- In-depth knowledge of identity and access management concepts, including provisioning, de-provisioning, authentication, and authorization.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell, C#, or VBScript.
- Experience with identity management integration, including Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
- Familiarity with identity governance frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate or similar.
