18-month labour hire opportunity based in Braddon, Canberra. Fraud assessment and intelligence reporting

**Your new company**
This well-known Federal Government Agency is based in Braddon, Canberra. They are seeking an APS6 Fraud Intelligence Analyst to join one of their teams that prevents, detects, and responds to payment fraud.

**Your new role**
You will be responsible under limited direction for tackling complex issues guided by legislation, policies, and information security frameworks. Your duties include but are not limited to:

- Contributing to the development, planning and production of financial intelligence delivery and outcomes.
- Performing fraud assessments and writing financial intelligence reports for complex matters from the collection, evaluation, and analysis of information.
- Supporting the development of the investigative process by sharing your own insights and suggested refinements.
- Maintaining accurate information records in relation to business decisions, activities, and operational procedures.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful for this position you will have previous experience within a similar position and within the Federal Government. You will also have:

- Demonstrated the ability to operate with limited supervision to interpret legislation and policy alongside practices and procedures to achieve outcomes.
- Experience meeting and fulfilling customer expectations while fostering relationships that result in exclusivity and trust.
- Organisational skills to develop an action plan for the team to complete work efficiently and on schedule by setting priorities, timelines, and resources.
- Commitment to the training and improvement of teammates by examining their knowledge, behaviours and skills resulting in readiness for future successes in new duties.

To be considered for this role you will need to be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
