**Construction Worker (Leading Hand)**

Due to continued growth across Australia, Georgiou is seeking an experienced Construction Worker (Leading Hand) to join our project-based team at Indooroopilly.

**What we are seeking**:

- Current Driver Licence
- Three (3) years previous Leading Hand experience in civil construction on local and major road projects
- Demonstrated skills in managing and motivating a work team to deliver project outcomes
- Background in all aspects of civil constructions
- Experience on projects with DTMR specifications and road safety specifications (highly desirable)
- Excellent and genuine safety attitude

**What to expect in this role**:

- Plan and oversee the work of a project team and subcontractors
- Able to carry out a wide variety of civil construction tasks, including drainage, road sealing, asphalting and concreting
- Ensure all works are completed within the relevant standards and timeframes
- Ensure all work undertaken is compliant with Georgiou’s policies and procedure and upholds the required workplace health and safety standards
- Participation in actively contribute in site meetings (toolboxes, pre-start, inductions)
- Read, interpret and understand specifications, standards and drawings
