A new role exists for a creative, enthusiastic and highly organised Client Manager to join Medium Rare’s energetic and performance-driven talented agency team, Rare Creative. Operating at the highest standards of client service you will lead, manage and take financial responsibility for our key client, Australia Post.
In addition, working with the Head of Rare Creative, the Client Manager will look for new and exciting opportunities such as coffee-table books, brand photography, magalogues, events and owned-channel marketing brand platforms. Our preferred applicant thrives in a fast-paced and detailed environment. They enjoy variety and have the ability to easily-adapt to a range of different industries, such as travel, lifestyle and business, enabling them to create brand campaigns that engage customers to shift behaviour.

You will be self-motivated and able to take on various initiatives and willing to step outside regular responsibilities and pitch in to help colleagues.
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Working with marketing managers of brands to creatively build, develop long-term partnerships with existing clients and identify new campaign and content opportunities that will drive growth for Rare Creative.
- Work with multiple teams (creative, sales, strategy, partnerships, video and research) to ensure the smooth implementation of large, multi-channel campaigns - ensuring each component is delivered on deadline and to budget and KPIs. Identify potential roadblocks related to budgets, resources and timelines and effectively communicate any issues.
- Manage production and all client status from brief through to delivery of final assets or campaign
- Manage campaign project cost tracking and budgets with full oversight of Australia Post and Rare Creative client profitability
- Develop and follow timelines across multiple concurrent marketing projects. Take stewardship of work-flow and content management systems (for example, project management tool Wrike)
- Assist the Rare Creative Art Director in the organisation and execution of product-led photo shoots and manage contracts/supplier agreements when required.
- Provide support with event delivery from end to end, including site visits, meetings, talent, run sheets, promotion, logistics and financials/invoicing.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Translate customer needs and objectives into best-in-class strategic proposals and content solutions that visually engage your customer and are simple to understand
- Strong experience in content strategy and creation specifically copywriting, editing and proofreading
- You have at least five years’ experience in marketing or account service at an agency or publisher. Experience working with large, B2B or B2C brands would be beneficial.
- Moderate experience in working with a diverse range of stakeholders and in prioritising collective needs of the business and in participating in client or stakeholder-facing activities like meetings and/or presentations
- Strong experience supporting content teams, partnership managers or commercial teams in the development of responses to digital requests
- You have demonstrated experience in campaign trafficking and are comfortable taking a leadership role managing campaigns on a day-to-day basis. The ability to plan and follow timelines for multiple concurrent projects is essential.
- You’re proactive and take a solutions-driven approach to conversations with stakeholders. You love to talk to clients and pride yourself on exceptional service, while also balancing the workloads of internal staff.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritise is essential.
- You’re financially savvy and have an understanding of invoicing and account keeping processes.
- Able to adapt and prioritise based on client needs
- You have a genuine love of learning. You can master work-flow and accounts systems and share your learning with the team.
