About the opportunity

Join Mercy Hospital for Women as a Casual Bank Midwife and/or Nurse and work across a variety of specialist areas with a collaborative and dynamic team. We are a public Specialist Teaching Hospital in Heidelberg. You will play an integral role whilst working in motivated clinical teams. Shifts are available in Birth Suites, Post-Natal / Antenatal wards, Fetal Monitoring, Outpatients, HDU, Gynaecology wards, perioperative services and the Emergency Department.

Education support will be provided, and you will:
- Play an integral role in a motivated clinical team with a family-centered care approach- Provide best-practice patient care as a member of the multidisciplinary team- Have a choice of shifts, to work a minimum of 2 shifts per month

- Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.- Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
