Procurement Officer Position Within the Public Sector

**Your new organisation**

This public sector organisation’s goal is to create a flourishing community for Western Australians. They are currently seeking a Procurement Officer to join their team on a fixed-term basis, to assist with a range of procurements across both goods and services.

**Your new role**

Within this role, you will be supporting the team with tender processes as well as contract management. Reporting to the procurement manager, you will be responsible for provision of procurement advice, tendering, maintaining supplier relationships and contributing to the development of procurement policies and procedures.

**What you’ll need to succeed**

To succeed, you will have demonstrated experience with procurement processes and contractual matters. In addition, you will have excellent communication and time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

**What you’ll get in return**

In return, you will be working in an interested procurement role with a range of contracts. You will also be entitled to paid sick and annual leave, and a salary of between $110 - $120,000, depending on experience.
