**About Key Venues**

Our Key Venues section oversees all our aquatic and leisure centres. We deliver first-class activity, program choice and promote Blacktown City as the leader in sport, recreation and leisure. **About the opportunity**

We are looking for enthusiastic and fun-loving individuals who share a commitment and passion for sport and leisure to join our Key Venues team as casual Program Host.

**Position purpose**:
Program Hosts are responsible for delivering activities, programs, parties and competitions in a safe and enjoyable manner to attract the maximum participation level. If you are a big kid at heart, you would be perfect as a Program Host

**Qualifications and experience**

**Essential**:

- Current CPR Certificate
- Current First Aid
- Excellent customer service
- Excellent oral communication
- Current Working with Children Check.

**Desirable**:

- Water Safety Awareness Module e.g. Perform Basic Water Rescues (PBWR) or equivalent (wet side only)
- Current class C driver's licence
- Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Availability to work flexible working hours.

**Remuneration and benefits**

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this role starts at $29.7584 per hour plus 25% casual loading
- Casual working hours
- Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 12% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
