We are the largest cancer charity in NSW and our point of difference is that we work across every area of every cancer, from research right through to support. **About the team** The Information Technology unit (IT) sits within the Finance, Strategy and Operations division. The unit comprises of key teams, who plan, build and run the IT systems that support CCNSW to deliver its vision of a cancer free future. **About the role** Based in our Woolloomooloo office, this is a Level 1 and Level 2 triage role and you will be the critical first point of contact to the organisation for IT Service Desk queries. Reporting to the IT Service Desk Manager your key responsibilities will include; - Responding to the requests for support and assistance from Cancer Council's employees, volunteers and supporters to facilitate the best possible user experience - Assist with the administration and maintenance of CCNSW's systems and technology infrastructure - Maintain and build upon our team's business and technical knowledge - Assist with the management, maintenance, monitoring and security of all computer hardware and software systems to meet the organisation's current and future requirements - Assist with the provisioning, administration, monitoring and security of all cloud services and infrastructure used to support organisational requirements. - Assist with the administration and monitoring of networking infrastructure as well as telephony and communications infrastructure. - Monitor systems and identify performance issues proactively. **About You** You will be someone looking for their next great career opportunity to develop and grow their skills and will also have the following: - 2+ years of relevant practical experience in a similar role - Demonstrated knowledge and\or previous experience with Windows Server & cloud technologies including: Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, SCCM, Intune, Terminal Services - Demonstrated knowledge and\or previous experience administering and supporting a SOE for Windows Clients or Servers - Demonstrated knowledge and/or previous experience in administering backup and/or recovery technologies for use in operational and/or DR scenarios - Demonstrated knowledge and/or previous experience in the supporting local and remote clients in a centralised IT services environment using ITSM Processes. - Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in supporting users and computers in LAN, WAN, and Wireless LAN networks. - Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the delivery of IT services using industry best practices. - A positive, proactive and 'service-orientated' approach to IT service delivery. - Experience in working effectively with a diverse range of staff and managers. - Excellent verbal, written and communication skills. **About the Benefits** - Work for purpose and know that your work fosters an engaged, diverse and culturally aware organisation. - Access to flexible work arrangements - Generous salary packaging options that can increase your take home pay by paying certain expenses using pre-tax dollars up to $15,900 a year. - Additional performance-based leave available. - Discounts available for everyday expenses such as private health, retail and fitness. - Recognised for Voice Project's 2021 "Best Workplace" Award.
