**The Gig**

Due to ongoing growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for an organised, hands on, and detail orientated,
**Crane Operator** to join the business Your primary goal is simple - You will deploy, manage, operate, and maintain a fleet of Franna and Hydraulic Mobile cranes (90 - 130 Tonne) supporting infrastructure and construction contractors deliver exceptional results for their clients

Based in the sunshine coast, and reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ply your trade to work alongside a team of dedicated professionals supporting construction site operations by working with a variety of Cranes. You will be an integral part of every project sharing your working knowledge of machinery and standard construction site practices.

**You will be trusted with**:

- Operating a variety of cranes according to schedule and instructions from project manager, choosing and setting up the right crane, lift or hoist to complete each task safely and efficiently
- Inspecting machines and equipment daily, performing routine maintenance procedures and minor repairs as required and initiate additional repair requests from mechanics when necessary
- Controlling cranes, lifts and other equipment using standard operating procedures to ensure effective transportation of materials and safety for all personnel on site
- Create and update detailed log of material transportation operations, including information about type of material, movement locations and additional data requested by project manager
- Listen to site manager’s plan prior to start of every shift, and complete all required tasks accurately and within assigned deadlines with limited supervision
- Maintaining visual and radio contact with ground operators according to best practices and site safety regulations, and respond to questions and instructions clearly and quickly
- Provide additional support to other crane operators and training or monitoring junior operators as required

**What’s In Your Toolbox?**

You will have a minimum of 4 years of taxi crane experience; a CO ticket (Open); and a HR (Heavy Rigid) truck license.
