With a diverse workforce of more than 2,300, we expertly deliver our services across Australia.About The RoleWe're on the lookout for a PERU Crane Operator to join our dedicated team at our Thomastown Depot.In this hands-on role, you'll play a critical part in the construction and maintenance of overhead electrical networks.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include safely operating specialised plant and equipment, with a strong focus on boring holes and lifting power poles into position with the PERU Crane.If you're confident behind the controls and thrive in a dynamic outdoor environment, this is your chance to work with a skilled team making a real difference to community infrastructure.Key Responsibilities IncludeProvide assistance and plant operation support to electrical line workersCompleting risk assessments/job safety analysis prior to commencing work at each siteSupport various crews in safely upgrading and maintaining the networkCompletion of work tasks within required time frames to meet customer requirementsAbout YouThe successful applicant will have experience working in a similar role within the construction industry and have the following:Valid HR Drivers Licence – with HC (Heavy Combination) licenceCurrent Work Safe Licence To Perform High Risk Work with C2 EndorsementWork Safely in the electrical environment, knowledge and understanding of electrical legislation, codes and standards of practiceWhy you should work for usWhat we do matters.
