Canstar is a leading research agency and Australia’s biggest financial comparison site, comparing more brands than any other. Our purpose is to simplify the world of finance and help consumers confidently find the right product for them.

We are now searching for a Performance Marketing Specialist to join our team on a minimum one year contract. As a member of the Marketing team, the Performance Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing the strategy across paid digital channels, with a focus on owning and managing our RateCity paid search activity. The role will work with other members of the Marketing team as well as key stakeholders across the Canstar Group.

**What You Will Be Doing**
- Develop and execute paid marketing campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
- Conduct ongoing optimisations and testing
- Work with the product and design teams to ensure a seamless user experience
- Collaborate with the data, analytics and commercial team to measure campaign performance and generate actionable insights
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics including CVR, Revenue, Profit, ROI and other business measures of success
- Provide quarterly and annual budget forecasts
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices to continually improve our marketing strategies and tactics.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships with search partners (Google & Microsoft)
- Create content for ‘always on’ and burst campaigns
- Collaborate with the Social Community Coordinator to ensure messaging is consistent across owned and paid content
- Implement and optimise ‘always on’ mobile app marketing activities
- Manage lead generation campaigns across mobile advertising platforms Reporting

**What You Need To Bring To The Role**
- 3+ years of practical PPC experience, including SA360, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads & Facebook Ads
- Demonstrated experience of delivering ROI positive campaigns for medium budgets
- High proficiency with Analytics and Reporting tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Data Studio / Looker
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs Suite (particularly MS Excel and Google Sheets)
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Please note that this role can be based in Sydney or Brisbane._
