**About the role**

This position is an integral member of the Events team. The primary focus is to deliver a seamless, enjoyable, and memorable experience to our guests whether that be delivering meals to tables or serving drinks at one of our bars within the Event space. Our brand new state-of-the-art, purpose-built Event Centre is the largest event venue in Southern Sydney.

Our Event Centre provides the perfect space for your corporate or social function - Southern Sydney Events Centre and Georges River 16th Sailing Club. We are on the lookout for vibrant and passionate team members who love to help create a memorable guest experience. **Duties**- A friendly, customer-focused attitude with the aim to provide total customer satisfaction.
- Setting up & clearing, pack down a variety of corporate and social functions in a discreet, professional and pleasant manner with a Can Do Attitude.
- Bartending in Banquet Bar.
- Setting up furniture and setting tables when required
- Work with a team to ensure the smooth running of events.
- Provide exceptional service and ability to work unsupervised to attend to guest needs and ensure all requests are fulfilled with a smile.

- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment
- Impeccable presentation and an ability to connect with people
- Work rights in Australia
- Ability to travel between our three sites from Hurstville, Menai and Sandringham

**Fantastic Casual Rates**

Monday - Friday**:

- $28.46 p/h**

Saturdays**:

- $34.16 p/h**

Sundays**:

- $39.85 p/h**

Public Holidays** - $56.93 p/h**

Double Time** - $45.54p/h**

Other penalty rates also apply.
