Then express your interest as we search for a Maintenance Planner to join us at our Wagerup Refinery

Being a Maintenance Planner at Alcoa, you will play a pivotal role within a dedicated operations centre coordinating all major maintenance activities. From balancing current and predicted equipment condition information to efficiently scheduling and communicating within the operations. Effective engagement with line leaders and support staff will be vital along with a high level of autonomy to collate all the relevant information you need to support you throughout the planning process.

You will contribute to the team by:
- Updating and maintaining a register of all equipment, mechanical, electrical, instrument and civil.- Ensuring the database of spares for all equipment is established and maintained.- Closely working and liaising with engineering, maintenance and equipment manufacturers.- Utilising data to produce monthly, quarterly and yearly schedules, factoring in future activities and in turn requirements for pre-ordering major spares.- Assisting in financial budgeting, forecasting and contributing to the efficiency of equipment.- Developing a thorough knowledge of all computer-based maintenance systems and ensure that relevant data is retrieved, entered and kept up to date on all equipment.

About you

- Relevant industry experience within a Maintenance related role.- Self-motivation and ability to use own initiative to solve problems.- Strong attention to detail to uphold accurate maintenance records.- Ability to pick up and learn new systems and procedures easily.- Effective communication skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.- Mechanical trade background or certificate in an Engineering related field would be highly desirable.
