About the Role

Join the residue team at Wagerup Refinery as a Field Planner, responsible for optimising maintenance activities and eliminating waste through effective planning and scheduling. This standalone role requires autonomy and confidence, with duties including inventory management, sourcing parts, and coordinating with specialists and contractors. This is a permanent opportunity working Monday-Friday and includes a leisure day off every 4 week period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximise equipment availability through strategic maintenance planning.

  • Schedule major outages to minimise losses and maximise value.

  • Develop long-term maintenance schedules (monthly to yearly).

  • Manage stores and warehousing, sourcing parts as needed.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors.

What you can bring to the role

  • Strong project planning experience, ideally within a heavy industrial environment.

  • Proficiency in a wide range of PC software, including MS Project to an advanced level.

  • Financial Background would be highly advantageous

  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in building relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors.

  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, collaborative spirit, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Confidence and ability to work independently in a standalone role.
