We are on the lookout for an experienced Assistant Operations Manager based at Melbourne Airport.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position is “hands on” and focuses heavily on coaching and developing our amazing duty managers, unit managers and staff.
- **Key** **responsibilities**_
- Oversee daily operations across multiple outlets across different terminals
- Develop Training plans and strategies for our duty managers and in unit management team
- Coaching and training in areas of management, conflict resolution, effective communication, best operational practices, financial control training, Safety training
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding of new staff
- Assist in development and implementation of exisiting and new policies and procedures around operational excellence and safety mindset.

**_About you._**

You will have a minimum 2 years experience is a similar role

Experience in managing large hospitality venues and multiple venues highly desired

Proven experience in coaching and developing teams while managing operations

Open availability - while this role is Monday - Friday, there may be operational need during peak periods to work weekends/nights/public holidays
