An exciting opportunity exists for an exceptional Fellow to join our team within the Medical Oncology department. The Fellow (Medical Oncology) is responsible for providing high quality Medical Oncology management include acute and outpatient assessment of medical oncology patients across the SCHHS. Live, work and play on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Join an expanding Health Service with a culture of innovation, education, training and research, with facilities across the Sunshine Coast including the University Hospital at Birtinya.The SCHHS provides healthcare to a rapidly growing population. There has been significant investment in services over the past few years, in particular the establishment of the Sunshine Coast University Hospital and the Nambour General Hospital redevelopment. The SCHHS also delivers services through hospitals in Gympie, Caloundra and Maleny. In addition, the SCHHS operates a residential aged care facility in Nambour and provides community health services and community mental health services through a range of stand-alone facilities located across the Sunshine Coast region.Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide services in accordance with the policies and procedures of Department of Medical Oncology.
- Provide safe and high-quality care to patients in accordance with the ethics and standards of the medical profession.
- Participation in general Medical Oncology clinics.
