Role: Project Finance Analyst

Company: Global Energy Management organization

Contract: Day rate contract (Temp to Perm)

Duration: 6 months (permanent role offered on performance)

**Salary**: $550 Per day

Location: Macquarie Park, NSW

Hybrid working: 2/3 days a week on site in Macquarie Park head office

Company Mission:

- _Responsible for accurate, timely reporting of Financial and non-financial KPIs of the Execution Center, in strong collaboration with other business finance functions._
- _Ensure essential support services for project management functions to deliver customer projects._
- _Work closely with other Controllers & Project Managers to establish a strong monitoring framework, in particular project P&L, Gross Margin evolution, Cash flows._
- _Communicate timely & advise Management and business stakeholders on key issues and priorities (risks & opportunities) to achieve targets._

Role Responsibilities:

- _Work closely with Execution team, focusing on Revenue recognition, Margin, Billing & Cash, Tax, statutory requirements to improve project financial performance._
- _Provide financial performance of project/portfolio: margin slippage and cash performance (I-R) (C-R) to the Execution team._
- _Participate in risk escalation for the project/portfolio; ensure governance in place._
- _Implement all projects controlling relevant rules, methods, processes, and tools in accordance with Global Project Controlling requirements._
- _Assist in the development of financial plans and forecasts and monitor and manage project expenditure, ensuring that all financial targets are met._
- _Participate in Project Reviews and monitor their financial performance, track, and manage changes to the project scope and cost baseline and participates in preparing monthly cost forecast._
- _Support Tendering team and challenge the financial aspects for new opportunities (costing, margin, risk provision, milestone billing, Forex)._
- _Lead process improvement and cost saving initiates to protect and increase the Group’s profitability._
