This organisation is an independent integrity agency that holds NSW Government agencies and certain non-government organisations accountable to the people of NSW. Through complaint handling, review, monitoring, investigation and training they seek to improve their administration and delivery of public and community services in NSW.
**Your new role**
The Statutory Review Officer is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the operation and administration of the Mandatory Disease Testing Unit (MDT). You will provide high level research and analysis of issues arising from monitoring of the Act, provide strategic advice to senior staff while developing and maintaining relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of project planning including developing project plans, coordinating resources, managing budgets, meeting reporting requirements
- Manage projects by ensuring compliance with governance and quality requirements to successfully deliver key project milestones
- Monitor agency response to recommendations stemming from their monitoring under the MDT Act
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience in statutory reviews, royal commissions or as a policy officer
- Excellent report writing skills
- Excellent research skills
**What you'll get in return**
- Grade level 9/10
- Hourly rate between $65-$75 + super
- Located in Sydney CBD with hybrid working arrangements
- 6 month assignment
