Position Summary
Balances daily sales to funds received using reports. Researches, explains, and ensures accurate reporting of variances, initiating
corrections when needed. Tracks voided sales, overages and shortages, and creates reports for management detailing the
problems. Reviews, balances, and reports membership processing, resale forms, refund audits, and electronic funds
transactions.
Job Duties/Essential Functions
- Ensures warehouse is reporting sales, membership dues, and refund information correctly. Keys prior day figures from register controller reports into computer daily summary report.
- Researches surpluses and shortages and reports to management if major problems appear. Reviews and maintains various logs, purchase order programs, and voids. Completes refund phone calls daily.
- Reviews sales audit discrepancy report and researches variances by checking computer transaction logs, vault inquiry screens, and cashier paperwork. Keys explanations and attaches documentation. Obtains appropriate sign-off and sends report to Home Office with payment forms.
- Audits membership keying to paperwork and funds collected. Reviews refund paperwork to check for proper documentation and authorisation. Keys explanations and attaches documentation. Obtains appropriate sign-off and sends report to Home Office with payment forms.
- Balances, researches, and resolves debit/ credit variances between the register system and AS400. Resolves discrepancies with the bank, members, and the Home Office.
- Submits various paperwork (deposit slips, daily paperwork, and miscellaneous tender items) to Home Office.
- Assists in warehouse where needed.
- Follows proper Administration and general safety and security procedures and standards.
- Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
- Provides prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees and suppliers. Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery
- Computer, printer, calculator, copier, carts, and flatbeds.

Education/Training: Higher School Certificate or higher
Knowledge/Skills: Administration, data management or comparable experience

Google Suite (Docs, Spreadsheet, Slides)

Other Skills and Abilities: Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal and organisation skills

Data entry and data management
Problem solving and critical thinking
Basic math skills

- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- Full COVID-19 vaccination or medical contraindications certificate
- If successful, you will be required to undertake role & department specific training within specified timeframes
