So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.**About the Role: - As a Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in the success of our Country Management Programme at Canva, driving operational efficiency, coordination, and collaboration within the team. Your primary focus will be assessing each country’s performance across all key audiences and channels, diagnosing challenges, finding innovative solutions and making them happen in collaboration with several stakeholders across locales and headquarters to ensure the team's growth and the company's success. This role is multifaceted. It requires a strategic mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to drive operational excellence.- This role will require you to lean into and crush any problem or project thrown your way, from fascinating strategic problem sets to mundane operational necessities to ensure the growth and success of our teams in these locales. You will rapidly get up to speed on new, complex, and diverse topics in order to advise management on strategic direction. Being able to communicate with kindness at the core of everything is a must.**What you'll do**: - Act as a strategic partner to the global programme lead, driving critical decision-making processes and ensuring alignment across teams and projects - Collaborate closely with the local teams to establish the team's long-term objectives and priorities in a way that aligns with the rest of the company - Assist in developing the team's goals across all verticals and markets - Set up and run regular cadences with key teams, ensuring clear documentation and providing regular updates to multiple stakeholders within and outside your group, adjusting them as needed for each audience - Prepare documentation and presentations for senior leadership alignment - Jump in and serve as an executive representative at any time, with high context - Own all team operations, establishing and maintaining cadences and infrastructure to support operational efficiency - Assess the team's performance, identifying areas of success and areas that need improvement - Diagnose challenges and bottlenecks within the team and develop creative solutions to address them - Proactively identify opportunities to improve and build on processes and systems to mobilize the team effectively - Establish KPIs and build data reports on Looker / Business Intelligence platform, for real-time data analysis - Coordinate all verticals and markets to regularly deliver reports on program success - Conduct data analysis to understand the current state of growth across key audiences and markets - Diagnose problems, identify opportunities for growth across content, product and marketing and see them through - Forecast and anticipate emerging opportunities within the countries and proactively work on solutions - Serve as the "glue" of the team, serving as a communication channel between the country managers and the rest of the company, as well as facilitating effective communication and collaboration - Coordinate global to local campaigns and processes across a fully distributed team across 3+ different time zones - Drive initiatives forward by coordinating timelines, milestones, and statuses, and proactively identifying and resolving issues - Manage stakeholder communications, ensuring alignment and driving progress across teams **What we're looking for**: - 4+ years of experience working at a high-growth tech company, investment bank or other multi-stakeholder advisory roles - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - Strong data analysis skills, with a focus on delivering actionable insights - Proven track record in strategic roles, project management, or operations - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills - Strong understanding of business strategy and operations - Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization - Self-starter with a desire to learn, evolve, and continuously improve - Quick learner so you get up to speed quickly with concepts and situations to be able to provide advice to lead
