**Melrose Contracting** is a rapidly growing & highly regarded Roofing company with operations in Sydney, Newcastle, South Coast and ACT. We seek to employ a Production Coordinator to work with our Production team at our South Nowra office in Nowra. Juniors with experience in Fascia, Gutter/ Roofing/ engineering sciences/ civil work will be considered. You will be an organised, friendly & focused person who can work independently and as part of a team.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

- Working with the production team as needed
- Assign contractors to jobs
- Check pay claims
- Follow up with suppliers for missing products
- Assist in the smooth operation of the department
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Accurate data entry skills and strong attention to detail
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- An ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your work
- Be a self-starter and show initiative
- Work well under pressure
- Ability to read Site Plans and specifications
- Knowledge or experience in the Building and Construction Industry
- Work cover approved white card and current NSW Drivers Licence (manual) are essential
- Roof Plumbing accreditation is highly recommended (but not essential)
- Fluent English language skills

Wages/Pay is negotiable depending on experience

- High school or equivalent (required)

- Drivers licence

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Illawarra NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
