Trade and Shopper Excellence Manager

**The role**:
**This position is a fixed term contract expected to last 11-12 months.**
Kao is looking for an experienced trade/shopper resource to develop a better execution in POS materials and bring some fresh ideas on Excellence in Execution.
This person would be the interface between brand and sales - managing in store executions like Woolworths trays, Coles 360, Pharmacy assets and End displays.
Managing online across Pharmacy and Grocery, ensuring all our assets are correct and up to date. Based on current structure, solid foundations have been built but the opportunity for scale through further focus exists. A focus in this area could also help to deliver better share in online sales (and fits with our Beyond Bricks strategy)
This person would have strong presentations skills and help the team in developing strong presentations and support Range Reviews - planning, execution, storytelling etc.
Support in market research - help us to deliver new shopper insights with tools like Survey Monkey, Voxpopme, this person could help facilitate those briefs and cascade out learnings (i.e. make the most of the investment)
Future Focused - work with the sales and marketing teams on building business cases for future brand launches.
**What you will do**:
- Shopper & Trade Execution - link between global brand teams and driving consistent and aligned local Executions with Excellence both in offline and online environments.
- Category Review Support - assist the sales team to pull together professional and cohesive storytelling using tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, etc.
- Market Research/ Shopper Insights - provide the team with meaningful and actionable insights from market intelligence sources such as Mintel, Circana, Survey Monkey, Kantar etc.
- New Business Development -lead market analysis, business case building for new category/brand entrants.
- Data Analysis - lead the integration of Sell in and Sell through data, i.e., Power BI and Circana scan data to enable the business to make better business decisions.
- 3rd Party Field Support - lead interactions/strategy with 3rd party providers of merchandising and sales support to ensure aligned execution.
**What you will need**:
- Tertiary Qualified, Business stream (preferred)
- 3 to 5 years in FMCG environment, ideally in other Trade or Shopper Marketing, Sales Analyst or Marketing Assistant type roles
