**About the role.**:
The Aboriginal Cultural Heritage team is focused on delivering meaningful and effective Aboriginal cultural heritage reforms for Aboriginal communities in NSW. The central focus of the team is promoting cultural growth and enabling community driven cultural practice through our work. This is achieved by leading the work across a range of stakeholders including Aboriginal communities, government agencies and industry groups across NSW. The team has a focus on high quality work, embedding culture in everyday practices, supporting each other, and taking enjoyment and fulfilment from the work we do. Within the team, each staff member is supported to develop their skills and interests, as well as being given the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects that interest them.
The Project Officer, Operations will support the design and delivery of process, systems and projects that will support the delivery of new Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Legislation and a range of operational projects to improve the way Aboriginal heritage is managed in NSW.
