Mechanical Supervisor

Clough is delivering the engineering, procurement and construction for the Waitsia Gas Project Stage 2 development, near Dongara, Western Australia. We are currently searching for a Mechanical Construction Supervisor with rotating equipment experience to join our team on the Waitsia project. You will be responsible for coordination and supervision of the mechanical team undertaking construction activities with a strong focus on Zero Harm.

This role will be bus-in/bus-out from Perth or DIDO from the Dongara/Geraldton region on a 14/7 roster.

**Your focus will include**:

- Overall responsibility for site construction activities within assigned area.
- Schedule and co-ordinate work to be performed and monitor work achieved by each trade.
- Ensure that all applicable safety codes, requirements and standards are complied with.
- Interpreting plans, regulations, codes of practice, labour control and material deliveries.
- Cost control, monitoring productivities and forecasting costs to complete.
- Estimating, programming and dealing with sub-contractors.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Previous experience as a Construction Supervisor with a background in rotating equipment, ideally on oil & gas projects.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Australian construction safety standards and requirements.
- Experience working on large value construction projects or other suitable project work.
- Ability to build sound working relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Genuine commitment to safety and a proactive approach to safety processes and practices on site.
- Confident decision-making ability.
