The George Williams Hotel, located on George Street in the heart of the Brisbane CBD, is a favourite amongst business and leisure travelers with 103 stylish rooms conveniently located close to key attractions such as Roma Street Parklands, Queen Street Mall, North Quay and Brisbane City Hall.

We are now searching for a **Night Audit Supervisor** to join the team on a **full-time, six month contract **basis. The standard hours required on site are 10:00pm to 6:00am, Thursday to Monday.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Under the direction of the Hotel Manager, this position is responsible for the management of the hotel’s overnight operations, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of all accommodation-related services designed to maximise guest satisfaction. This position will also undertake the daily auditing and reporting of George Williams Hotel’s daily takings and statistical information related to the safety of the premises and patrons on site.

The responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Supervise the night team members in upholding operating standards and procedures
- Collaborate with service staff and other managers of the establishment to proactively resolve any service and operational issues
- Perform general cleaning and administrative tasks including conference room set up, maintaining stock levels for the front desk area and printing/displaying conference signage
- Monitor service standards, complaints and compliments
- Meet and greet hotel guests, ensuring that you create a warm and inviting first impression
- Handle guest check ins, enquiries, coordinate storage of luggage, recording and setting wake up calls and check out procedures
- Manage guest accounts, ensuring that outstanding balances are finalised prior to guest departure

**SELECTION CRITERIA**
- Previous experience within the hospitality industry including front office, reservations and/or auditing experience
- Demonstrated customer service skills including an ability to handle queries, complaints and escalations
- Sound knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience with cash handling and basic financial reporting
- Willing and able to display flexibility as determined by changing business requirements
- Possess a current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
