**About the business and the role**

Home Make It are family owned specialty stores selling a wide range of home brew equipment and kits, wine making equipment and supplies, sausage and salami making equipment and kits, passata making supplies and kits, cider making equipment, pasta making machines, olive oil making equipment, cheese making kits, pizza making equipment and much more.

Our Clayton store is looking an experienced retail professional who is passionate about homemade food and beverages, and preserving traditions.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- General retail assistance and advice spanning across our product range.
- Day to day operations of the store including opening and closing the store when required and POS.
- Stock replenishment and maintaining displays.
- General tidying and cleaning.
- Stock ordering and inventory control.
- Assist in other duties as reasonably requested by the Retail Manager.

**Skills and experience**
- Customer service focus
- Proven retail sales experience is essential
- Knowledge and passion for homemade food and other beverages is favourable.
- Willingness & aptitude to learn processes and equipment required to make homemade food and beverages.
- Self motivated to increase product and process knowledge through attendance at formal training, workshops and internet.
- Solid time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to establish good rapport with fellow staff and customers..
- Intermediate computer skills.
- A team player and also able to work unsupervised and use initiative.
- Ability to work Saturdays until 3.00pm is required.

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
