**THE WHO, THE WHAT AND THE WHERE**

Our client is a boutique, independently owned conveyancing firm located in Perth’s east (only 15 mins from the CBD). The Director has a remarkable story; After a successful career in the corporate world, she went out on her own, with the intention to create a workplace with an incredible culture and fully personalised service for her clients.

With a strong focus on workplace culture, they have a “flat organisational structure” approach where everyone is just as important to the success of the business regardless of their role. They are also involved with a number of charities giving back in a number of ways to those less fortunate.

**WHAT’S INVOLVED?**

You will be working across a mix of residential, commercial, industrial, rural, sub-divisions and vacant land conveyancing. The expectation is that you provide a full-service, doing the “doing” and consulting in particular, interpreting laws and relaying them to clients in an easily digestible way. You will have a full team of admin support to assist you also.

As the Conveyancer, you are responsible for the process of contracts, transfers, mortgages, and leases and the preparation of all of the required documents.

**DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?**

Conveyancing is an incredibly fast-paced, and at times, stressful job so we are looking for someone who is very well organised with excellent time management skills. You need to be a little bit like a duck in water, paddling away ferociously below but remaining cool and calm on top. Someone with a good sense of humour and who loves to get involved in a bit of office chatter certainly would not go astray either. Onto the non-negotiables:

- Experience in working in a conveyancing firm
- A strong and broad understanding of the settlements process and an understanding of Landgate, Office of State Revenue, Trust Accounting, Contract of Sale and banking procedures and policies
- BIGGEST NON-NEGOTIABLE - Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
