**About Lindsay Transport**
Lindsay Transport is the largest transporter of fresh produce in Australia and specialises in temperature sensitive, time-slotted freight into Central Markets and major Grocery Distribution Centres. We operate a network of freight terminals with significant coldroom facilities across the east coast of Australia and employ a staff of approximately 1500 workers.

Lindsay Transport is currently seeking an experienced Allocator to work in our Adelaide Depot. The position will be offered on a full time basis and will report directly to the Depot Manager.

**Duties of the role include but are not limited to**:

- Allocation of drivers and scheduled runs
- Communication of departure and arrival times with drivers
- Experience in produce is a must
- Working between the office and floor staff to ensure correct loading and allocation of freight
- Knowledge of driver fatigue and mass in accordance with legislative requirements
- Maximising the utilisation of fleet to achieve optimal operational efficiency
- Implementation and enforcement of processes and business rules
- Ensuing drivers conduct is in line with company policies and procedures
- Achieving customer satisfaction and quality service by ensuring all "on time" driver performance
- weekend work in rotating roster
- Have previous experience in a similar role
- Experience in leading and developing a team
- Experience with fatigue and mass requirements
- Produce knowledge and experience (desirable)
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation
- Exceptional communication skills
- Solid PC Skills
- Ability to manage strict deadlines and competing objectives
- Ability to perform in a high pressure role
- Attention to detail
