**Marine Operations & Logistics Supervisor (2IC) - Rumi on Louth (Eyre Peninsula, SA)**:

Rumi on Louth is a privately-owned, off-grid luxury eco-resort located on the breathtaking Louth Island off South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula. We’re seeking an experienced and proactive **Logistics Supervisor (2IC**) to help keep our operations running seamlessly — from coordinating marine and land transport to ensuring our inventory, fleet, and facilities are always ready for action.

This is a rare opportunity to combine your logistics expertise with a unique lifestyle setting. In addition to a competitive salary of **$75,000-$90,000 + super**, we offer **optional off-island accommodation at a heavily subsidised rate of $150/week**, making it easy to live close to one of South Australia’s most beautiful and exclusive destinations.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Coordinating daily deliveries, transfers, and resupply logistics
- Ensuring vehicles and vessels are serviced, operational, and ready for use
- Overseeing inventory checks, stock reorders, and MSDS compliance
- Supervising and mentoring the logistics team, ensuring daily tasks are completed
- Maintaining fleet logbooks and promptly addressing maintenance needs
- Supporting minor facility maintenance tasks
- Liaising with other departments to ensure timely logístical support for guest services and events
- Promoting and adhering to eco-friendly and sustainable practices

**About You**
- Previous experience in logistics, maintenance, or operational support roles
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Safety-conscious with knowledge of WH&S and marine/fleet regulations
- Comfortable working in a remote or island environment
- Proactive, adaptable, and reliable with a commitment to high standards

**Requirements**:

- Current driver’s licence (MR or HR licence preferred)
- Valid Coxswain Grade 1 or 2 Certificate of Competency
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Marine Radio Operator’s Certificate (VHF)
- Experience operating small passenger vessels in open waters
- Strong understanding of maritime WH&S legislation and emergency procedures
