We are seeking a passionate Asset Management coordinator to lead our dynamic Asset Management team, driving the successful review and implementation of our city-wide Asset Management Frameworks and Strategy.

**As our Asset Management Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for**
- Leading a dynamic and passionate Asset Management team, inspiring them to achieve the City's asset management objectives with excellence.
- Spearheading the development and enhancement of the City's asset management system, overseeing the review of policies, frameworks, software, and comprehensive asset inventories. Focus on key asset classes such as buildings, roads, stormwater, and paths to ensure optimal condition and defect data management.
- Offering expert guidance and invaluable insights on asset management principles and processes to all directorates, fostering a culture of excellence throughout the organisation.
- Champion the implementation of data-driven decision making rooted in asset management principles, empowering the City to make informed choices with confidence.
- Take the helm in crafting and executing comprehensive asset management plans for the Environment and Infrastructure asset groups, ensuring they align with organisational goals and support sustainable growth.
- Skilfully manage the annual infrastructure valuations, documenting detailed unit rates as outlined in the Asset Valuation Guidelines.

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:

- Tertiary qualification in Asset Management, Engineering, or equivalent recognised prior learning.
- Current ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence.
- Extensive experience in asset management including asset management systems.
- Significant experience leading and motivating teams to deliver on organisational asset management initiatives and objectives.
- A high level of knowledge of financial principles including valuations, estimating, capital works and budgeting.
- Detailed knowledge and experience with implementing the IIMM guidelines and understanding of the ISO 5500 Asset Management standards on Environment and Infrastructure assets.
- Proficient in the use of Office 365 including Excel and Word.
